"Mighty Morphin Power Rangers": Original actors, the characters they portrayed, and their post ranger lives.

"Mighty Morphin Power Rangers": Original actors, the characters they portrayed, and their post ranger lives.

Hey what's up again peeps? It's been awhile since I posted articles from the Hubpages "30 in 30" challenge I done back between June and July. I'm not even going to say that I know which number this hub was. I honestly don't remember. Anyway, this is an article I had written on the "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers". I highlighted  the six original power rangers, and tried to give updates on where they are now. It was pretty fun doing research for this one. Anyway, feel free to check it out. Brad H out!

Don't dwell on things for too long.

Hey what's up folks? This is your boy Brad H once again, and welcome to another edition of "Brad H's Perspective". As always, I hope all is good and well with everyone. Today is a Sunday, and I'm pretty excited. Tonight I'm participating in a fantasy football draft for one of the leagues that I'm participating in this year. Being a part of the fantasy drafts is a reminder for me that football is right around the corner. Like many others, I'm looking forward to the upcoming football season starting. Alright it's time to get into this weeks topic. Today's blog post is going to be another fairly brief and to the point post. It has to deal with dwelling on the things that happen in our lives.

Now we're all aware that life is like a roller coaster ride filled with many ups and downs. Life often includes many twists and turns that can affect us and how we live our lives. Most of ups, downs, twists, and turns are for the better. However, sometimes they're for the worst. As great and wonderful life is, there are always bad things hovering over us. There is no way around it. No matter who you are in this world, you're going to face problems and challenges at some point or another. Now I personally believe that we as a people worry ourselves more over the bad events that take place in our lives, rather than focusing on the good ones. I'm in no way saying this applies to everyone. There are some people in the world that are extremely positive, and hold their heads up regardless what is going on. I personally just see more instances of people pondering on the bad events that takes place. I personally believe this is one of the biggest mistakes that we can make. We can't allow ourselves to dwell on anything for too long.

The biggest problem with dwelling too long on anything, is it defeats us from progressing. Constantly thinking and pondering on the bad things that happen can lead to stagnation. It's totally fine to feel down about certain things that happen. That's what being a human-being is all about. We all have feelings, so there are always going to be things to occur that have an effect on us. Life is very unpredictable and can be full of disappointments. However, it's not about how you take the disappointments; it's about what you do next. We can choose to lay down and allow them to beat us down, or we can choose to take action. Are you going to let disappointments get you down to the point where you stay down, or are you going to react? Those are the choices that we all face.

Most people measure winning or losing on whether a person places first in a competition. Life itself is a competition that is full of winners and losers. My personal belief is that the only way a person can lose is if they choose to take themselves out of the game. As long as you're in the trenches trying to progress, you're a winner regardless if you're where you want to be or not. Everyday that we wake up is a new day to make things happen for ourselves. The main message that I'm trying to convey in this post is that we need to keep on moving and progressing. Lets not dwell on the bad things for too long. As I said in a previous blog post, we gotta keep it moving.

Well that's it for this weeks edition of "Brad H's Perspective". I hope anyone who read it enjoyed it. I'm bout to sign off for this time, but hopefully I'll be back in a few days or so with another topic. I hope that everyone has a great weekend ahead. Also shout out to all the students going back to school this week. I hope you all have a great school year. Till then, peace, love, and blessings to all. Brad H out!

You can only get away with things for so long.

What's up once again everyone? This is your boy Brad H hitting you up once again with another edition of "Brad H's Perspective". As always, thanks for tuning in, and I hope this blog post reaches everyone in good health and spirits. Today's post is going to be fairly brief and to the point. It's something that has been on my mind heavily for the past few months. I'm going to title it; "You can only get away with things for so long". I hope you enjoy reading my thoughts on this subject. Lets get into it.

"You can only get away with things for so long". Of course there is a reason why I make this statement, and why I chose it as the title for this posting. I've been noticing that many people have been mistreating, and showing a lack of respect towards others. Some people are acting as if they are better than others, almost to the point where they think it's their place to look down upon people. Maybe it's because they feel they have a higher status than someone else, or they obviously have a huge ego. The bottom line is that people who engage in this type of behavior, eventually end up hitting a brick wall. You can't go around treating people badly, and expect good things to happen for you. Being this way is almost like putting on a masquerade. You know how so many people front and act a certain way to impress others? Well the real you eventually comes out. You can only get away with things for so long.

I know that some people can't see past their ego, and may not get what I'm saying. However, as much as some people like to believe they're all that, nobody stays on top forever. Just because you knowingly mistreat others now and haven't suffered any consequences as yet, doesn't mean it's always going to be that way. I just don't understand how some people could be so insecure within themselves, that they have to be a jerk towards others to get a rise out of themselves. The thing with karma is that it has many ways of creeping up on us unexpectedly. It may come in the form of something happening directly to us, or something happening to something or someone we care about. Either way you view it, we always get what is coming to us in the end, whether it's for good or bad. The bottom line is this; watch how you treat other people. If you're mean and hateful towards others, eventually you're going to have to answer for it. We're all human, and anyone of us can end up in the same situation as someone else. What you put into this world is what you get back. I know that some people don't believe in karma, but I'd rather risk having good karma coming towards me than bad.

Well that's it for this edition of "Brad H's Perspective". I hope that it was enjoyable to read, and hopefully it was able to reach someone. As always, I'll be back again soon with another posting, so stay tuned. Thanks for reading, and enjoy the week ahead. Peace, love, and blessings to all. Brad H out!

You can't have it both ways with people.

What's up once again world. It's your boy Brad H coming at you once again with another edition of "Brad H's Perspective". It's definitely been awhile since I wrote an installment of Brad H's Perspective. As some of you may know, I recently done the "30 hubs in 30 days" writing challenge on Hubpages. I initially intended on keeping my blog updated while doing the challenge. Unfortunately, I ended up getting behind during the challenge, and was unable to write on this blog like I wanted. Now that the challenge is over with, I can focus once again on the topics I want to discuss. If you've read this far in this particular post, I thank you. I also hope that this reaches everyone in good health and spirits. Lets go ahead and get into what we're talking about today.

Today's topic deals with people who think it's okay to have it both ways with other people. You may be asking yourself; what do you mean have it both ways? What I mean by having it both ways; is basically someone who claims to be a real friend or family member, but they're only there when it's convenient for them. Some of you may very well know a person or a group of people who engage in this ugly habit. A person who wants to have it both ways with other people are often the type of people you don't hear from until they need you for something. When I say something, I'm not only talking about material or physical items. It could be for advice, support, or just a shoulder to lean on. These are people who always expect for us to be there for them, but they're seldom found if and when the tables turn. To sum it all up, these are basically shady people who are users in it's true essence..

I can't speak for anyone else, but I find myself being very annoyed with people who believe it's okay to have it both ways with people. Quite frankly, in my opinion friends or people in our lives who use this tactic aren't real friends, or real people in general. Of course things happen in life and people tend to get busy. We all know that people can lose touch at times, and that shouldn't change a friendship. However, it's not cool to be one of those people who only calls someone when things are going bad for you. The way I see it, if you have enough time to call someone when things are going bad, then you can also call someone and say hi or check up on them when things are going good for you as well. It's that's simple.

It's just amazing to me how some people act as if things in life can't change. Just because you're on top of the world today, doesn't mean you always will be. So many people develop cocky and arrogant attitudes as if they no longer need others. The ironic thing is these are the same people running and looking for people to turn to when things start going downhill. So you don't need anyone when you're up, but you want people around when you're down? That's the true definition of a person who wants it both way with others. A real individual doesn't do that. That's what a user does. Don't be a user who has time and a need for their family and friends for their own personal and convenient reasons. That's not the real or right thing to do, and a person like that doesn't deserve to have good people in their lives. Remember, it's hard to climb up, but easy to fall back down. You want to have friends and people there for you if you ever do fall right? Treating others right and being loyal to them increases the chances of having them around.

There is however a remedy for dealing with these kinds of people. We can always choose to not deal with them. I'm not the type of person who believes in doing evil for evil, but I don't think we should allow ourselves to be taken advantage of either. We all have basic common sense, and it should be used in these types of scenarios. If someone is using you or attempting to have it both ways with you, tell them how you honestly feel. If they don't respond, or are not willing to meet you halfway, then it's probably best to remove yourself from their lives. If you're a true and loyal friend to them, they'll end up regretting wanting to have it both ways with you. It always happens in the end. Let them know that you're not a crutch or footstool that they can always depend on. It all boils down to having high self-esteem, and some people will try to play on your emotions -- especially if you're a good person who has a kind heart.

Well that's it for this installment of "Brad H's Perspective". I hope that someone finds it both easy to relate to, and encouraging as well. I hope that there can be a discussion about this. Do you have people who want to have it both ways with you? Are you a person who attempts to have it both ways with others? If so, lets talk about it. This blog is all about addressing issues, and hopefully learning and growing from them. Like I mention in all my other posts, I'm far from perfect. I'm looking to grow and become a better individual as well. Thanks for reading. Until next time, peace, love, and blessings to all. Brad H out!

TV series review: "Playmakers" (2003).

Hey what's up folks. It's ya boy coming back at you once again. Hope everyone is doing well and staying up. Well here is the ninth article that I wrote for the challenge I recently done on Hubpages. It's a review of a show that I felt like had a lot of potential for future seasons, "Playmakers". I won't mention too much about the show now, that's what the article is there for. Anyway, I hope anyone who checks it out enjoys it, and feel free to drop comments and feedback. Well I'm out for now, so I'll see you all next time. Till then, peace, love, and blessings to everyone.
